Patient Education Reference Center provides patient-specific education to meet (170.314(a)(15) Patient-specific education resources) using an annual subscription model. Additional costs that may be incurred would be the hardware and software cost of an Electronic Health Records system, and the costs of hardware, including a content server used to store the patient education content files. The user should contact the EHR vendor for those costs.
